For those who love infographics and information design in general, visual.ly is a fairly new community specifically designed for sharing new designs. The site is super clean and minimalist, which makes sense for an infographics destination, I think. I look forward to seeing what kind of traffic and engagement the community draws. Have a look.

I discovered these wonderfully rendered papercraft infographics this morning while checking out what was new on Behance. She graduated from the National Chengchi University in Taiwan and furthered her studies at my alma mater, Pratt Institute in New York. I really [...]

Chromaroma Visualisations from Mudlark on Vimeo.
This visualization ‘game’ is powered by one’s Oyster Card in and out of the London Tube. It records your movements and trips as well as tracking others, as a result promoting more use and exploration. At the very least the rendering is a visual treat. Have a look.

The 3D renderings posted on Depot Visuals’ Flickr photostream are extremely unique and fresh. I find myself wanting to look them over in great detail, and there is a lot of detail to cover. Part organic, part geometric they seem to transcend all lines of the ordinary and expected, which, to me, makes them all [...]

In the short description, their software calculated the relative proportions of different colors from various photos taken [...]

I can imagine that Beethoven would have been very interested to see his music visualized through this graphic animation. Each colored bar represents the musical instrument that is being played at any given time of the score. While viewing I was reminded of how brilliantly complex this composition actually is. The graphic itself that is [...]
