The above urban stencil art is just a small sampling of art created by one of 35 artists from around the globe who have come together to create and document artwork in Lüneburg, Germany. They are documenting every day of the event by taking tons of pics and uploading them to their online gallery, tweeting on twitter and uploading video to vimeo. All this was idea-ted, initiated and sponsored by leuphana University in Lüneburg. This is a very inspiring project that contains many facets of discipline, makes me want to go back to school again. This visual identity motion design by Netherlands based agency ‘Buro knapzak’ contains some very interesting blurring and scaling, nice particle effects and an overall abstract alien appeal that keeps my attention. The identity was produced for The University of Twente, which is based on three central pillars: education, research and valorization. By valorization they mean the transfer of knowledge commercially and also the transfer of innovations to society. They strive to excel in education, research and valorization because talent attracts talent. How true.
