The Wolf I Used To Be… from Nearly Normal on Vimeo.
This papercraft stop-motion film is both mesmerizing and and inspiring in so many ways. The story, lighting, the quality of the character rendering and the overall scenery is nothing short of pure genius. Can you tell I like it? Have a look for yourself.

I dig these tangible designs by Montréal based graphic designer Julien Vallée. They were created for a recently launched artists site created by AOL (aolartists.com) that is meant to be a community for sharing new inspirational art and design. His combination of sculptural form and simply placed san-serif type really catches my eye. More great work to [...]

It’s a fun watch as the animation literally unfolds, tears and transitions from sheets of paper to colorful boxes and then to a paper model of a pop style t.v. only to reduce back down [...]

The first I saw of L.A. based, Kansas City born Kiel Johnson was the title screen of his time lapse video below (Cardboard Sculpture of a Twin Lens Reflex Camera) on Vimeo. Honestly I didn’t even play the video at the time. I guess I’d seen so much papercraft time lapse video on Youtube and [...]

These well crafted images have spread through the design blogosphere at a rapid pace the past couple of weeks because of their relevance and alignment with current papercraft trends + very spatially dynamic and inspirational. You can [...]
