Matta – Release The Freq from Kim Holm on Vimeo.
I like the use of motion tracking, color filtering and atmospheric infographics in this video directed by motion designer Kim Holm. At times, it’s a little bit like watching a circa 1970s National Geographic wildlife video… in Webster Hall or something? Besides that, I really like [...]

This is a nice fluid alphabet animation created by Sardinia, Italy based designer N9VE, where each character is the initial letter of a font name. Pretty slick, I like the hand rendered, herky-jerky style. Click through to watch it on Vimeo.

floating from floating on Vimeo.
This is really amazing footage of flying paint. There really isn’t much to say beyond that, other than, I really respect how much talent it takes to capture a subject as difficult as this. The light, motion, color and sharp focus is impeccable. Definitely worth a view.

Refraction from Jesse Zanzinger on Vimeo.
Shot with a 5D, Jesse Zanzinger captured this very creative oil and water macro footage. It appears that he also overlaid some of it over background video footage taken from ‘Sesame Street Pinball Number Count‘ (I think that’s the video he’s referring to). All placed together it makes for an interesting effect. Below are [...]

I tried to grab some complimentary screen shots of the video below designed and produced by German motion and graphics designer KU-Schneider. The stills are quite beautiful, but you have to experience the luminous animation and motion design by watching this video full screen. The constant changing of the the neon rod’s depth of field accompanied [...]

His reel is a constant flow of nice graphic particle animation, realistically rendered objects/lighting and some solid type/logo lock up arrangements. Makes for an inspiring view.

KraftWork from seeper on Vimeo.
The above video by KraftWork is a nice new example of architectural image mapping. I especially like the Tron-ish white line/hairline rendering towards the beginning of the video, feels unlike anything that I’ve seen before coming from this creative medium.
