London based agency ‘Dare’ created this entertaining self-promotion infographic to attract grad students to apply for the Dare Grad Scheme. I love the bit about the check shirt, converse shoes and glasses. Worth a view.

London based ‘Farrow Design’ is producing some very strong logotype design, iconography, print and package design. I think what I’m drawn to most is their overall simplistic graphic style and hard hitting use of color. For more excellent work check out their site.

Notes from Vimeo:

An experimental Time Lapse film exploring rush hour in London. Inspired by Koyaanisqatsi, the film uses time lapse photography techniques to create the visuals. A DSLR was set up to take a frame every 2 secs with a shutter speed of around 0.3 – 2 secs with an ND8 filter was used to create a motion blur which helps to increase the sense of rush and movement within the film.

Stereomind’s profile statement on Flickr simply reads ” The eyes believe themselves; the ears believe other people”. ‘Stereomind’ is a London based photographer who leaves himself to be a bit of a mystery. Stereomind’s profile statement on Flickr simply reads ” The eyes believe themselves; the ears believe other people”. I’m not sure what to make of that exactly but I like it, and I really like some of his shots. He spends a great deal of his time trying to capture people in mid air flipping, riding bikes and climbing trees. Trickery or not, I really like trying to dissect in my mind how he’s creating these shots, while doing so I’ve come up with some interesting ideas of my own that I may try. As I was browsing Stereomind’s work I noticed that he was submitting to a whole group devoted to ‘Mid Air Moments’ on Flickr.
