Fine Art Photography -> Ryan Schude

The small images above barely begin to relay the awesomeness of the work coming from advertising, fine art, and editorial photographer Ryan Schude. His set design, lighting and well choreographed action scenarios are impecable and great fun to look over. I’m also a big fan of his portrait works. View more, much larger, beyond the [...]

Holger Schilling -> Während Ihr Schlieft (While You Slept)

Wurzburg, Germany based photographer Holger Schilling, created this photo series called ‘While you Slept’ (20th-century architecture of German single-family homes). I’m amazed at how his lighting technique, combined with his crisp capturing abilities and the minimalist subject matter can produce such a deeply rich and surreal effect. Especially when seen together as a series. So inspiring [...]

The polycarbonate modules are geometrically shaped like crystals, giving the outside skin of the building an interesting scaly appearance on top of the [...]

Strala -> Lighting Design

Zurich, Switzerland based furniture + fixture design agency ‘Strala’ designed this lighting ‘tms’ series (2004) that is both minimalist and complex at the same time. The geometric columns fragment the interior light source into separate beams, as a result they emanate a really nice graphic bouquet of atmospheric light (best represented in the top photo).
