I rarely post about architecture here on circuitbreaks, but this modernist weekend retreat called ‘the Delta Shelter’ really caught my eye last week …thanks to my wife for passing the link along. The structure was designed by Tom Kundig of Seattle based Olson Kundig Architects and is located in the beautiful region of northeastern Washington. Here are [...] Denmark design studio ‘Kvadrat’, leader in the European market of design-textiles has dreamed up these amazing hanging sculptural creations that they have appropriately named ‘Clouds’. Coming in multiple configurations and color patterns they definitely demand our attention and add some serious atmosphere to any environment that of which they are set. See many more color [...] Zurich, Switzerland based furniture + fixture design agency ‘Strala’ designed this lighting ‘tms’ series (2004) that is both minimalist and complex at the same time. The geometric columns fragment the interior light source into separate beams, as a result they emanate a really nice graphic bouquet of atmospheric light (best represented in the top photo). Visit [...] Jeff Klarin and Rebecca Johnson own and operate the multi-tasking art and design studio ‘Bughouse’ in Eagle Rock, California. They produce everything from screen prints to jewelry and furniture and then some.
