“Noise” from Kijek / Adamski on Vimeo.
Notes from Vimeo:
“Film inspired by the theoretic work of George Berkeley and basics of synesthetic perception. It’s a game of imagination provoked by sound. Individual sounds penetrating into the apartment of the main character relieved of their visual designates evoke images distant from its origins.”
If you are at all interested in modern architecture trends, then I would suggest clicking around Labics Architecture’s site (based in Rome). Not only are their final designs crisp and clean, their conceptual models and renderings are a work of art as well.

I really enjoy the landscape photography by German artist and designer Andi Mayr. His color work especially has my attention. Taking notes.

Fabien Oefner is the photographer behind the incredible images above. Currently on display at the MB&F MAD (Mechanical Art Devices) Gallery in Geneva, these images were taken of completely scale exotic automobiles, all parts hung and positioned by wire.

This is one of the best projection mapping efforts that I’ve seen in some time. Typically, projection mapping takes place on a fixed object and evolves on that canvas alone, static position. In this video, the canvas is in motion, the camera is in motion, and the projection transcends […]
In a world where the temptation to overbuild, overcomplicate, and overthink, comes all too easy, I find Jargeau, France based artist, Fesson Ludovic’s land art to be refreshing. The simple surprise that comes from bringing basic order to organic elements in their own natural environment really delivers, both visually and conceptually. Many more examples of […]
This is a great collection of RV night shots taken by Washington based photographer Frank Hallam Day. The atmospheric lighting dramatically highlights the surrounding Floridian foliage in a surreal way that I really enjoy. Many more fun photos to check out beyond the link below. CARABINERS: Use. Design. Engineer. Build. Repeat.
Consumer confidence is not easily attained. Sometimes you have to tell little stories to get there. This video by Black Diamond does a really nice job illustrating the level of quality, craftsmanship and design involved with creating one of their rock solid carabiners. Black Diamond has also redesigned their site experience, […]
How do we want people to feel? Don’t confuse convenience with joy, or, abundance with choice… good design takes time… a nice thought provoking piece of branding coming from Apple. The motion graphics alone are worth checking out.
This is a terrific looking rotary hydroponic system designed by industrial designer Libero Rutilo. The origin of the rotary design stems from NASA, in an effort to design sustainable garden systems that would provide fresh food for extended tours in space. This design looks like it would fit right into our earthly needs. More info, […]
This is an interesting touch-like interface that seems to bridge the gap between the physical content world (books, magazines, notes…) and the digital world. The highly accurate fingertip mapping allows the user to conduct some common gestural actions in the real world, transferring data to the digital world.
“We think paper and many other objects could […]
