Filed under ‘the coolest thing I’ve seen all week’. A good friend passed along this fantastic photo set captured by Jamie Boud documenting the 2nd Annual Race of Gentlemen, that occurs in good ol’ Wildwood N.J. Go Jersey! From the looks of it, I may have to jump on a plane back east to see the race […]
New Zealand based company Romotow has patented this innovative take on mobile living space design. The entire mid section swings out 90 degrees to reveal a clever, cleanly designed outdoor living space. Taking only three minutes to set up, this is an amazing design feature for car camping enthusiasts. Many more interesting features beyond the […]
HBTV: Depth of Speed – British Mania from HBTV on Vimeo.
Notes from Vimeo:
“When it comes to the world of British automotive prowess, the earlier examples from MG and Austin Healey have arguably fallen to the wayside amongst Britain’s current crop of luxury vehicle makers. But for Roger Gisseman, his love of British cars dates back […]
The Derelicts a short film by eGarage from eGarage on Vimeo.
A friend at work passed this well captured and well told documentary vid along to me this morning. The man behind ICON, modern engineeering, classic purposeful design, discusses his love for the “derelict style”. Love the description “time burned, natural finish and patina”.

This is a pretty fun and interesting environmental art piece, or public art project by ‘Pedazos de Papel’ (Pieces of Paper), or at least that’s who I was able to track back to for a source from Vimeo. I may be wrong. Regardless, the paint is released onto the pavement by bicycles and the rest of […]
If you’re looking for a new online resource for design, art, music, culture and fashion you may want to check out Honeyee.com. I like the simplicity of the site’s template which allows the imagery to speak loudly and not become diluted by a heavy site skin. The categories are pretty interesting as well, covering everything […]
Art of Formula D: 2009 Retrospective from Will Roegge on Vimeo.
In great contrast to the automobiles I posted about below, this well done documentary captures the exciting world of ‘Formula Drift Racing’. If you haven’t seen this unique style of racing before you’ll get where the name comes from as you watch the video. The […]
Being a new resident of the pacific northwest, I’ve started to discover a number of interesting cultural subtleties that are different from the east coast and the midwest where I have lived in the past. One of the little granular details that has caught my eye is the local love for the mini camper van. […]
MINI Germany invited New Yorker street artist Craig KR Costello to come to Hamburg and design the exterior paint job of a MINI. ‘KRINK’ is the name of his brand, that stands for highest Quality markers and ink (KR-INK) and has a great reputation among street artists as well as designers worldwide.
BMW M6 by Vita Brevis Films from VITA BREVIS on Vimeo.
I respect a film production house that will hold out for the exact weather condition that will compliment the necessary mood, look and feel required to satisfy the original intent of their creative concept (in this case pea soup thick fog). So many agencies […]

Just when I thought I’d seen fonts made out of pretty much everything, along comes this piece by typographers Pierre & Damien/plmd.me and a professional driver Stef van Campenhoudt who have collaborated […]
