“In this crystalline form everything is made of the multitude – the splendors of Versailles, the rearing stallion and other distractions or ambitions. A curious history restlessly shifting, its charged particles and reflections dissolving into a universal something.
Notes from TES page:

“The Eagleman Stag is the 2011 BAFTA award winning Royal College of Art thesis film of director / writer Mikey Please. It’s mostly made out of some strange white stuff, found in the back of a stress cushion. Mikey worked with his brother Benedict Please who composed the soundtrack and score, as well as the vocal talents of cult actor David Cann who lends his voice here to Peter Eagleman. ”

The signature sound of the Roland TR-808 helped to transform the music industry during the 1980s. There’s some interesting facts and some great nostalgia on the TR-808 in this short documentary.

Excerpt from his Site:

“Berndnaut Smilde’s work often draws upon the physical presence of transitional spaces. Places such as corridors, elevators, staircases and balconies interest Smilde as spaces that exist to be in between. This interest also branches out into the possibility of how a given space might be in between states of construction and deconstruction.”

Notes from Behance:

“The experimental typeface Raster is based on a 3×4 grid. That’s also where its name comes from as “Raster” means “grid” in german.

The typeface is designed for headline purposes. The goal was to create an interesting, geometric look where the decorative elements don’t cut on the readability of the slogan/header/.. you want to create.”

I came across the photography of Elle Perez recently. I enjoy the sense of honesty and humanity that he’s able to capture within each scenario or series. I also like that he’s embedded his portfolio into his Tumblr blog. Pretty clever and definitely worth checking out.
