Cloud Dreams from edvard brun on Vimeo.
Take some time to enjoy the above amazing time lapse capture by Seattle based writer and videographer Edvard Brun. He has many other videos available on Vimeo and a great collection of photos on Flickr as well. His work has inspired me more than ever to keep saving towards that 7D!
His notes from vimeo below:
Mt. Rainier in the state of Washington is one of the Cascade volcanoes that generates some amazing, other-worldly clouds. Because it is so high (over 14,400 feet / 4300 meters) it acts like a giant rock in the atmosphere. Winds blowing over the top sometimes form wave clouds (also called lenticular clouds) in the lee of the mountain. On occasion, these can end up looking like UFOs, flying saucers, or stacks of pancakes. This time lapse set has been a long time in the making — as I captured enough sequences to get a continuous flow.
