Japanese Town Logos -> kanji characters

Apparently, unbeknownst to me Japanese towns have logos. Really nice logos, for that matter. One of my long time favorite blogs pinktentacle.com has recently posted 50 amazing Japanese town logos that incorporate stylized kanji characters into their design. I enjoy their super clean quality and find them to be very refreshing. I posted my favorites from the fifty above, I did, however, have a tough time selecting them.
