I also enjoy his subtle application of weathering and distress on his [...] Jim Denevan is currently in the books as the creator of the largest artwork in history, the above drawing is a segment of a larger design that in total is nine miles in circumference (located in Nevada, USA 2009). It’s no wonder that there are so many great designers out there who share a love for infographics and focus on the practice of visually assembling and organizing crazy amounts of info. The above ‘Massive Attack’ video takes you through an incredibly rendered CG fly-through of abstract landscape that seems to endlessly unfold and evolve. From metallic flat lands, particle filled skies to dark characters… this video is definitely a trip, the track ‘Splitting the Atom’ [...] Shoreditch, London based photographer Jonathan Winstone, takes incredible shots that look to be the product of someone who is completely immersed in his subject matter. He’s captured a ton of ‘one in a million’ moments from within the urban fixie/skate culture that range from in-action riding to his time in-transit and some phenomenal portraits of [...] The below lightpainting sequence video was beautifully shot with a Canon 5D Mark II and is composed of about 300 photos. The Russian group ‘Freezelight’ from what I can gather is a group of lightpainting artists that have come together to create an online presence where there will soon be tutorials and conversation around [...] Paris based artist/photographer Ruben Brulat has his attention focused on capturing humanity. In his collection of photos that he calls ‘Immaculate’ you can sense that he is trying to capture the basics of humanity amongst dramatic, heavy man made architecture, to me making man seem all that more fragile and defeated by his own creations.
