Rolls-Royce GHOST – World Premiere from 12FRAMES on Vimeo.
As a bit of contrast to the previous ‘Logorama’ post…
I really enjoy seeing classic brands embrace new ideas and re-emerge in ways that remind us all why they became classics in the first place. Rolls-Royce was obviously going for a very fresh, refined and high-tech vibe in [...]

Logorama from Robby Ralston on Vimeo.
Sorry folks, they took the video down… All together now! -> BOOOOO!
Last July I posted the teaser video for this short by French designers from H5 called ‘Logorama’ that explores how logos have become more and more a part of our everyday lives, to the point at which we as [...]

I really dog the illustrative stylings of New Zealand based Dane Flighty. Bold, vivid, imaginative and my favorite part is his line work. Lines that are super smooth and fun to follow as they twist and turn into peculiar machines, vehicles and characters. I also enjoy his subtle application of weathering and distress on his [...]

You can also view the drawing here on google maps. His works are temporary and eventually [...]

It goes without saying that in this day and age we all have access to an overwhelming amount of information, data and analytics. It’s no wonder that there are so many great designers out there who share a love for infographics and focus on the practice of visually assembling and organizing crazy amounts of info. [...]

The first I saw of L.A. based, Kansas City born Kiel Johnson was the title screen of his time lapse video below (Cardboard Sculpture of a Twin Lens Reflex Camera) on Vimeo. Honestly I didn’t even play the video at the time. I guess I’d seen so much papercraft time lapse video on Youtube and [...]

Massive Attack-Splitting the Atom-directed by Edouard Salier from edouard salier on Vimeo.
The above ‘Massive Attack’ video takes you through an incredibly rendered CG fly-through of abstract landscape that seems to endlessly unfold and evolve. From metallic flat lands, particle filled skies to dark characters… this video is definitely a trip, the track ‘Splitting the Atom’ [...]

Shoreditch, London based photographer Jonathan Winstone, takes incredible shots that look to be the product of someone who is completely immersed in his subject matter. He’s captured a ton of ‘one in a million’ moments from within the urban fixie/skate culture that range from in-action riding to his time in-transit and some phenomenal portraits of [...]

The below lightpainting sequence video was beautifully shot with a Canon 5D Mark II and is composed of about 300 photos. The Russian group ‘Freezelight’ from what I can gather is a group of lightpainting artists that have come together to create an online presence where there will soon be tutorials and conversation around [...]

Paris based artist/photographer Ruben Brulat has his attention focused on capturing humanity. In his collection of photos that he calls ‘Immaculate’ you can sense that he is trying to capture the basics of humanity amongst dramatic, heavy man made architecture, to me making man seem all that more fragile and defeated by his own creations.
