Jim Denevan is currently in the books as the creator of the largest artwork in history, the above drawing is a segment of a larger design that in total is nine miles in circumference (located in Nevada, USA 2009). You can also view the drawing here on google maps. His works are temporary and eventually degrade and disappear by means of waves and weather, making them all the more precious and impressive to view in person while they are still intact.
