I saw a lot of interesting Halloween costumes and masks this year but nothing as innovative and cerebral as this ‘Papercraft Self Portrait’ mask designed rendered and produced by Vancouver based game industry guru Eric Testroete. Basically, he’s mapped his enlarged picture to a CGI wireframe mesh and exported the final image with perfed lines as guides to fold along to make the whole thing 3D again.
