I find 29 year old London street artist Slinkachu’s work to be incredibly interesting. It may stem from the fact that I loved HO scale railroad building with my father growing up as a kid, but there is still much more here than just tiny little human and animal models shot at a macro setting with a shallow depth of field. In each one of these shots Slinkachu captures a mood. It may be a sense of loneliness, despair or even humor at times. I’m not sure how he’s doing it, but his shots are most definitely alive and telling little complicated stories. He’s got a whole blog spot dedicated to his work. You’ve got to check it out.
