Today’s 14th ‘Midweek Music Bump’ is by Brooklyn based chamber-pop band ‘Grizzly Bear’. When I was in college I was friends with this super upbeat over caffeinated hippie girl from up-state NY who always gave me my ora update when we saw each other. Some days it was orange, others it was yellow or a clear gold metallic… she always had some kind of long explanation behind each color and luckily almost always had something positive to say. This video got me thinking about those days and the fact that I haven’t had an ora update in some time. In retrospect I miss them. That’s why it’s this week’s ‘Midweek Music Bump’. Enjoy the track.
