Is there any more genius of a way to tap into the iPhone trend for the New Yorker Magazine than to produce their famous cover art entirely on an iPhone? I don’t think so. Artist Jorge Colombo drew this digital finger painting at Times Square with the app Brushes. The final image is actually really impressive and fits the New Yorker’s classic illustration style perfectly. I wonder how they managed to deal with the lack of resolution quality from the phone to print? I’m guessing they shot the image on the screen? Regardless, this was a really fun idea coming from The New Yorker. I first caught news of this on theNextWeb.com.
