Above, illustrators Jeff Bowman, Andy Miller, Barrie Iman and Mathew Hodson design window murals on the windows of Converse stores in Glasgow and London. I enjoyed watching these guys do their thing. My favorite quote from this video was “we’re going to do this mad explosion of line work, kinda thing”. That makes complete sense to me and is probably how I would have described some of my work when I was studying fine art and illustration back in the day. Actually I would probably still describe some of my work that way to this day. Who am I kidding? I’m totally envious of the extremely creative, transient and computer-less nature of their day job. It would be a lot of fun to travel around and marker up windows with coffee in hand for a company like Converse. These guys have a good thing going on for sure. Worth a watch.
