The Magic Bus Stop -> by Philip Bloom

The Magic Bus Stop: Test short with EX1/ Shoot 35 SGBlade from Philip Bloom on Vimeo.

I posted a week or two ago about Phillip Blume’s video “Alone in Tokyo”. After a little Friday afternoon surfing I noticed that Philip Bloom had a new HD video up on Vimeo. I thought I would throw this one up as an update on his amazing body of work. This one simply titled “The Magic Bus Stop” is a nice snap shot of the common, everyday bus commute, accompanied by The Who’s “Magic Bus”. It makes for an up-beat playful piece with plenty of great facial expressions, interesting characters, and lush urban scenery. A good afternoon pick-me-up.

Film notes from Vimeo:

No grading. Raw images with just PP tweaks in camera. Shot in just over an hour in Richmond, Surrey and edited on FCP to The Who’s “Magic Bus”. Shot on the Sony EX1 and the new Shoot35 SGBlade.
