The Penny Jam Video Podcasts – Portland

I have just started to crack open this Portland based music-video-podcast-episode conglomerate and I’m pretty blown away already. The footage has an honest and raw/real feel to it that really helps to set the tone of each unique space (grocery stores, carpet storefronts…) and featured musician. The diverse list of Penny Jam featured musicians (Boy Eats Drum Machine featured above) will definitely keep me hooked and coming back.

There is a certain mystique about Portland and everything coming from it these days. I’m a huge fan of the city and I think all cities have a lot to learn from the way they have chosen to lead themselves. Did you know that Portland is the #2 “Green city” in the world? 2nd to Reychavik? I heard that somewhere a while back. I’ll be posting on Portland’s Green behaviors in the next few days. Anyway, not to get off-topic.
