Nice Clean White from DaBrainkilla on Vimeo.
DaBrainkilla is a graphic designer and music video director based in France. I was instantly drawn in by the relentless pace at which the beautiful mix of urban and rural imagery flows throughout the piece. Nicely edited and littered with unexpected transitions. The music compliments the visuals in a thought provoking manner. It’s amazing what some folks can do with a Nikon Coolpix E4600. Definitely worth a watch, or two.
Here is the video description from DaBrainkilla’s page on Vimeo:
“This music video is an abstract journey in our everyday surroundings, illustrating moments of life in a continuous way.
A trip into 4500 still photographs, a travel where urban landscapes meet pastoral scenes to create a whirlpool around the theme of the video: the subjective point of view and urban life.
This video was created with a stop motion technique, it was conceived with a very simple Nikon Coolpix E4600. There is no video in it, but not less than 4500 still photos taken in the streets of Nancy and Epinal (France).”

What a huge work, love all the feelings that this video is creating.
I agree Sundin. That’s a great point as well that I did not call out in my original post. I can’t imagine the amount of work/love this project must have entailed. Take into account the photography, editing, recording the beats and writing the amazing lyrics. Thanks for the comment.
